Students’ Week

HED Memo no. 1036-Edn(U)/HED-12016(21)/12/2022-UNV SEC-Dept. of HE Dated 27.12.2022 refers to the Advisory of the Principal Secretary, HED, Govt of WB (No. 238- SSE/ 2022 dt 27/12/22), regarding observance of the Students’ Week at educational institutions of West Bengal.

The SOP as outlined in the said order directs Colleges & Universities to observe Students’ Week from 2/1/23 to 7/1/23 preferably between 11:00 am and 01:00 pm. with focus on the following programs:

1. Awareness about beneficial schemes like SCC / SVMCM-Aikayashree

2. Health Check-up/ Psychological Counselling Camp

3. Display of IEC (Information, Education and Communication) materials – Public Health

4. Poster/Quiz/Recitation Competition

5. Career Counselling

6. Seminar on Digital Education & Blend Mode

7. Interactive Exposure – visit to Local schools

The first one will be held on 02/01/2023 (Monday) at 12:30 noon at the university campus.

For implementation of other programs, a Meeting will be held on 02/01/2023 at 01:00 pm with the students and teachers present at that time.
