Students Week 23

In compliance with the instruction contained in HED Memo no. 303/Adm/83/M&D/PBSSM dated 19/12/23 read with PBSSM, Howrah, Memo no. 1218/SSMGE/04/23 dated 26/12/23 it is notified that Students’ Week will be observed at Hindi University during 2-8 January, 2024.

The University has planned to organize the following programmes to observe the Students’ Week:

1. Cultural Competition
2. Awareness campaign for Student Welfare Schemes (SVMCM/ Kanyashree Scholarship and SCC) 
3. Career Counselling 
4. Display of IEC (Information, Education and Communication) materials
5. Two Seminars on relevant social and community specific issues

The date, topic and Speaker of the Seminars have been finalized, as under:

1. 04 January, 2024: ‘Current Health Issues of the Adolescent and the Youth: The Indian Context’ – Speaker: Dr. Pradip Kumar Sharma, Health Officer, Bhatpara Municipality & Asst. Administrator of Dr. K. R. Adhikary College of Optometry & Paramedical Technology
2. 05 January, 2024: ‘Cyber Security’- Speaker Dr Arindam Sarkar, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, Belur, Howrah 

Display of IEC materials & Awareness Camp will be held 3 January onwards. As regards Career Counselling and Cultural Competition, the dates will be notified after finalization.

All students of Hindi University of Semester I & III are asked to attend all the programmes and make them successful.
