Admission in Translation Studies

A few students who got registered within dateline for admission to MA Hindi Course have submitted prayer for changing option and pursuing instead PG Course in Translation Studies since they have virtually no chance of admission in Hindi.

Without the permission of the Government the Admission portal cannot be opened at this stage for receiving fresh application. Many seats in Translation Studies course are still lying vacant. The eligibility criterion for both Hindi Course and Translation Course was graduate with Honours in Hindi. Hence in the greater interest of students the university has taken decision to consider the prayer of the applicants.

But for the sake of transparency and extending similar benefit to non-applicants, it is notified that other candidates who applied for Hindi MA and whose present status is ‘Waitlisted’ may apply for change of option from Hindi to Translation Studies.

Willing candidates may send prayer for change of option within 19/11/2022, 12.00 noon.

Initiative will be taken for filling up vacant seats of Translation Studies from among the applicants strictly according to merit.
