As I take over the position of the Vice Chancellor, Hindi University, West Bengal, I consider the challenges of this new university as opportunities for me towards social contribution and commitment. I have had multiple meetings and interactions with the faculty, staff and students of the university and I am glad, relieved to see that they are people of commitment and dedication to academics.
